By 1861 Daniel is married to his second wife Charlotte IVE and they are living at Haydon Farm in Joel Street, he is said to be a Farmer of 40 acres.

In 1871 Daniel, Charlotte and his children Mary and Samuel, together with Charlotte's nephew George Frederick IVE, are living in Ruislip, Daniel is described as a Land Occupier of 58 acres.

In 1881 Daniel, Charlotte and Mary are living in Ruislip, he is now a Farmer of 140 acres employing 2 men and 2 boys.
