Charles OCLEE, son of William OCLEE and Sarah [--?--], was born about 1814 in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. He was baptized on 25 December 1814 in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. In 1841 Charles and Elizabeth are living in Rickmansworth, he is described as a Beer House Keeper. In 1851 Charles, Elizabeth and their daughter Ellen are living in Rickmansworth, Charles is working as a Gardener. In 1861 the now widowed Charles is still living in Rickmansworth with his two children, his occupation is now a Postman. Elizabeth IVE and Charles OCLEE had the following children: 297 | i. | Ellen OCLEE was born about 1850 in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. She was baptized on 31 October 1858 in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. In 1871 Ellen is working as a Cook in the household of a retired Lieutenant Colonel in Bray, Berkshire. In 1881 Ellen is a servant in the household of the Rector of St Peter's, Chester, where she is employed as a Nurse. In 1891 Ellen is still employed by the Rector of St Peter's, she is now described as a Housemaid. In 1901 Ellen is living in Kirby Cane, Norfolk, she is still in the employment of of the Rector (now apparently retired) and her position is now given as Cook. | 298 | ii. | Henry OCLEE was born about 1852 in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. He was baptized on 31 October 1858 in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. He died in 1881 at the age of 29. Death Registration: in January 1881–March 1881 in R.D. Watford Vol 3a Page 292. In 1871 Henry is a boarder living in the household of James TURNER in Wharf Lane, Batchworth, he is described as a Labourer out of employment. |
