Ninth Generation189. George IVE was born on 3 November 1821 in Kingston-upon-Thames, Surrey. He was baptized on 13 January 1822 at All Saints in Kingston-upon-Thames, Surrey. He died in 1852 at the age of 31 in Kensington, Middlesex. George was buried on 25 June 1852 at All Saints in Kingston-upon-Thames, Surrey. The 1851 census finds George, Eliza and their son Edwin living at 28 William Street, Kensington, he is described as a Journeyman Butcher, a Mary G. WITTERIDGE, age 14, is listed as a visitor in the household, she is presumably Eliza's sister. Mentioned in a codicil to his father's Will in 1851 saying that he inherited copyhold premises in Harefield, Middlesex, this may have been the 70 acre farm at New Years Green mentioned in the 1881 census but this has yet to be proved. George IVE and Eliza Galpine WITTERIDGE were married on 25 April 1847 at St Andrew in Holborn, London. Eliza Galpine WITTERIDGE, daughter of George WITTERIDGE and Elizabeth GALPINE, was born about 1822 in Ibberton, Dorset. She died in 1882 at the age of 60 at High Street in Southall, Middlesex. She was buried on 2 November 1882 at St John in Southall, Middlesex. George IVE and Eliza Galpine WITTERIDGE had the following children:
