195. Martha IVE was born on 3 September 1841 in Hampton Court, Middlesex. She was baptized on 29 September 1841 in Kingston-upon-Thames, Surrey. She was buried on 5 June 1894 at St Nicholas in Thames Ditton, Surrey. Martha died in 1894 at the age of 53 in Thames Ditton, Surrey.

Registration: R.D. Kingston Vol 2a Page 224 between January 1861 and March 1861 . Martha IVE and Richard James PORTER were married in 1861. In the 1861 census Richard and Martha are living at Horridon Farm, Claygate, Richard is described as a farmer of 111 acres employing 3 men and 2 boys. Richard James PORTER was born about 1834 in Hampton Court, Middlesex. He died on 19 December 1921 at the age of 87 at The Nest, Station Road in Thames Ditton, Surrey. He was buried on 23 December 1921 at St Nicholas in Thames Ditton, Surrey. Richard had his estate probated on 20 February 1922 at Central Probate Registry in London.
The 1851 census finds Richard as an Apprentice Butcher working for a George ROBERTSON in Hill Street, Richmond, Surrey.

In 1861 Richard and Martha are living at Horridon Farm, Claygate, Surrey, he is described as a farmer of 111 acres employing 3 men and 2 boys; an Adolphus PORTER, age 26, is a visitor in the household.

By 1871 Richard, his wife and daughter Mary, have moved to High Street, Thames Ditton and his occupation is recorded as a Butcher; a nephew, Thomas PORTER, is resident in the household, he is aged 17 and his occupation is Butcher's Assistant.

The 1881 census has Richard and Martha, together with their son Frank, living in High Street, Thames Ditton, both Richard and Frank are described as Butchers.

In 1891 the family are still living in High Street, Thames Ditton, Richard is now described as a Butcher and Farmer, and Frank as a Butcher's Assistant; Mary is now back at home as well.

The 1901 census has, the now widower, Richard and his children living in High Street, Thames Ditton, he and Frank are now both described as Butcher and Farmer.

The 1911 census finds Richard living at The Nest, Station Road, Thames Ditton, he is now described as a Farmer, the census form records that both his children have died.

Frank Richard PORTER was born in 1861 in Claygate, Surrey. He was baptized on 18 December 1861 at Holy Trinity in Claygate, Surrey. He died on 13 March 1910 at the age of 49. Frank had his estate probated in 1910 at Central Probate Registry in London.
In 1871 Frank is listed as a pupil at a school in Church Street, Hampton, Middlesex.

Mary Elizabeth PORTER was born in 1865 in Claygate, Surrey. She was baptized on 23 October 1865 at Holy Trinity in Claygate, Surrey. She died in 1906 at the age of 41 at High Street in Thames Ditton, Surrey. Mary was buried on 19 December 1906 at St Nicholas in Thames Ditton, Surrey.
