68. Edward IVE was baptized on 5 January 1779 in Harefield, Middlesex. He was born in 1779 at Highway Farm in Harefield, Middlesex. Death Registration: R.D. Uxbridge Vol 3 Page 244 between April 1843 and June 1843 . He was buried on 22 May 1843 in Harefield, Middlesex. Edward died in 1843 at the age of 64 at Highway Farm in Harefield, Middlesex.

The 1841 census has Edward living at Highway Farm, Harefield and he is described as a Farmer, Sarah WEATHERLEY is also present (described as a Servant), there are also three WEATHERLEY children, namely, Elinor 12, Daniel 6 and Matilda (Martha?) 3.

The following is a transcript of Edward Ive's will taken from the PCC probate wills at the PRO:-

This is the Last Will and Testament of me Edward Ive of the parish of Harefield in the County of Middlesex farmer.

I give and bequeath the sum of one hundred pounds sterling unto my Grandson Joseph Stevens for his own use to be paid to him at the expiration of twelve calendar months as at after my decease.

I give and bequeath an annuity or yearly sum of twenty pounds unto my housekeeper Sarah Winter for her life to commence immediately after my decease and to be paid to her quarterly by equal quarterly payments.

I give and bequeath all my farming stock crops, horses, waggons, carts, cows, sheep and store cattle and all the rest and residue of my personal estate after payment of the said legacy and the said annuity and my debts and funeral and testamentary expenses unto my two children Joseph Ive and Ann the wife of Matthew Stevens equally to be divided between them share and share alike and I nominate, constitute and appoint my said son Joseph Ive sole executor of this my will and I do declare this to be my last will and hereby revoke all former wills by me made. Proved at London 14th May 1844 before the worshipful William Cabverley ????? Doctor of Laws and Surrogate by the oath of Joseph Ive the son the sole executor to whom admon was granted having been first sworn duly to administer.

Edward IVE and Ann [--?--] were married about 1797 in Harefield, Middlesex. Ann [--?--] was born in 1774 in Harefield, Middlesex. She died in 1814 at the age of 40 in Harefield, Middlesex. She was buried on 11 July 1814 in Harefield, Middlesex.

137	ii.	Mary IVE was born in 1801 in Harefield, Middlesex. She was baptized on 1 March 1801 at St Mary the Virgin in Harefield, Middlesex. She died in 1801 at the age of 0 in Harefield, Middlesex. Mary was buried on 30 September 1801 at St Mary the Virgin in Harefield, Middlesex.

139	iv.	Martha IVE was born on 5 November 1803 at Highway Farm in Harefield, Middlesex. She was baptized on 4 December 1803 at St Mary the Virgin in Harefield, Middlesex. She died in 1804 at the age of 1 in Harefield, Middlesex. Martha was buried on 26 October 1804 at St Mary the Virgin in Harefield, Middlesex.
140	v.	Charles IVE was born in 1805 in Harefield, Middlesex. He was baptized on 16 June 1805 in Harefield, Middlesex. He died in 1816 at the age of 11 in Harefield, Middlesex. Charles was buried on 30 April 1816 in Harefield, Middlesex.

143	ii.	Matilda WEATHERLEY was born on 26 September 1837 at Highway Farm in Harefield, Middlesex. She was baptized on 22 October 1837 in Harefield, Middlesex. She died in 1848 at the age of 11 at Hillingdon Union Workhouse in Hillingdon, Middlesex. Matilda was buried on 21 April 1848 at St Mary the Virgin in Harefield, Middlesex.
