Seventh Generation68. Edward IVE was baptized on 5 January 1779 in Harefield, Middlesex. He was born in 1779 at Highway Farm in Harefield, Middlesex. Death Registration: R.D. Uxbridge Vol 3 Page 244 between April 1843 and June 1843 . He was buried on 22 May 1843 in Harefield, Middlesex. Edward died in 1843 at the age of 64 at Highway Farm in Harefield, Middlesex. The 1841 census has Edward living at Highway Farm, Harefield and he is described as a Farmer, Sarah WEATHERLEY is also present (described as a Servant), there are also three WEATHERLEY children, namely, Elinor 12, Daniel 6 and Matilda (Martha?) 3. The following is a transcript of Edward Ive's will taken from the PCC probate wills at the PRO:- This is the Last Will and Testament of me Edward Ive of the parish of Harefield in the County of Middlesex farmer. I give and bequeath the sum of one hundred pounds sterling unto my Grandson Joseph Stevens for his own use to be paid to him at the expiration of twelve calendar months as at after my decease. I give and bequeath an annuity or yearly sum of twenty pounds unto my housekeeper Sarah Winter for her life to commence immediately after my decease and to be paid to her quarterly by equal quarterly payments. I give and bequeath all my farming stock crops, horses, waggons, carts, cows, sheep and store cattle and all the rest and residue of my personal estate after payment of the said legacy and the said annuity and my debts and funeral and testamentary expenses unto my two children Joseph Ive and Ann the wife of Matthew Stevens equally to be divided between them share and share alike and I nominate, constitute and appoint my said son Joseph Ive sole executor of this my will and I do declare this to be my last will and hereby revoke all former wills by me made. Edward IVE and Ann [--?--] were married about 1797 in Harefield, Middlesex. Ann [--?--] was born in 1774 in Harefield, Middlesex. She died in 1814 at the age of 40 in Harefield, Middlesex.
