He died on 5 November 1921 at the age of 36 in Hospital of St J & St E, Marylebone. Appears on the 1901 census living in Harrow, Middlesex working as a Hay Binder. Charles served in the Royal Navy in World War One, he joined up 0n 11th December 1916 and was demobbed on 11th March 1919. Subsequent to his demobilisation, Charles enlisted in the Royal Marine Light Infantry on 12th March 1919, he served in the RMLI until 17th November 1919 when he was discharged to the Naval Reserve.
