548. Lilian Alice IVE was born on 21 March 1880 in Streatham, Surrey. She was baptized on 30 May 1880 at Immanuel Church in Streatham, Surrey. She died on 24 January 1955 at the age of 74 in Blue Township, Ontario, Canada. Lilian was buried on 26 January 1955 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Blue, Ontario. This is a transcript of the obituary for Lillian Alice which appeared in a local paper in Ontario in 1955:

Funeral services were held for Mrs. Lillian Alice McKenzie on Wednesday, January 26, 1.00 p.m., from Full Gospel Church in Blue Township. Evangelist Gustav Anderson officiated. Mrs. McKenzie was the wife of Willoughby McKemzie of Blue Township. She was in her 74th year. Death came early Sunday, Jan. 24 at their Blue farm home.

Mrs. McKenzie is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Walter Peters, Sleeman; Mrs Clarence Walker, Winnipeg; one son, Howard, of Sleeman; a sister, Mrs. Archie Embury, Sleeman, a sister and brother in England, and eleven grandchildren.

Born in England on March 23, 1881, Mrs. McKenzie had spent 35 years of her life in this area.
Pallbearers for the funeral were: Henry Selman, Henry Peters, James Froome, George Martin, James Martin and Vernon Wrolstad.

Lilian Alice IVE and Willoughby MCKENZIE were married in 1919. Willoughby MCKENZIE was born on 25 October 1871 in New Brunswick. He died on 8 July 1962 at the age of 90 in Rainy River, Ontario, Canada. He was buried on 10 July 1962 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Blue, Ontario. This is a transcript of Willoughby's obituary:

W. MacKenzie, Blue Pioneer, Died

Willoughby MacKenzie, pioneer settler of Blue Township, passed away July 8 in his 91st year. One of the first settlers of Blue Mr. MacKenzie came here in 1902, three years after the railway line was constructed through the area.

Funeral services were held on July 10 at 2 p.m. from the Blue Full Gospel Tabernacle with Rev. C. Walker officiating. The R. D. Walter Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Interment was in Forest Lawn Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Henry Selman, Henry Peters, Jim Martin, Scott Gosnell, Vernon Wrolstad and Marvin Wrolstad.

Mr. MacKenzie was born on Oct. 25 1871 in New Brunswick and was married to the late Lillian Tobin at Rainy River in 1919. During his active life, Mr. MacKenzie farmed in Blue.

Survivors are a son, Howard of Sleeman, two stepdaughters, Mrs. W. (Winnifred) Peters of Sleeman and Mrs. C. (Lillian) Walker of Winnipeg: 11 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Maude Brewer of Boston, Mass., and Mrs. Alice McCluskey of Wolfville, N.S., two brothers, Lemuel of Bonnyville, Alta., and Ensley MacKenzie.
