Described as a Domestic Servant Unemployed in the 1881 British Census, living at The Moor, Harefield, Middlesex.

Kate IVE and Edward John COLLINS were married on 19 July 1881 in Harefield, Middlesex. Edward John COLLINS, son of John COLLINS, was born about 1854 in Thames Ditton, Surrey. He died Unknown.

Appears on the 1881 census as a Police Constable, lodging at the Police Station, Windsor Street, Uxbridge, Middlesex.

On the 1891 census Edward, Kate and their two sons are living in the High Street, Potters Bar, Edward has been promoted to Police Sergeant.

By 1901 it would appear that Kate has died and Edward has remarried, as he is living in Bethnal Green, with a new wife named Margaret, he is still a Police Sergeant.
