285. Margaret IVE was born in 1835 in Harefield, Middlesex. She was baptized on 4 December 1835 in St Margarets, Uxbridge, Middlesex. She died in 1909 at the age of 74 at Chestnut Cottage in Ruislip, Middlesex. Margaret was buried on 24 June 1909 at St Martin in Ruislip, Middlesex.

Appears on the 1841 census in the household of Mary BRAY her grandmother at Ducks Hill.

On the 1861 census Margaret is living at Ruislip Common, apparently alone and her occupation is given as a Wood Dealer.

The 1891 census records Margaret living at Primrose Hill, Ruislip on her own means, she is a widow.

On the 1901 census Margaret is shown as living at Kings End, Ruislip with her sister Louisa who is also a widow, no occupation is listed for either sister.

Margaret IVE and John HOWARD were married on 3 October 1865 at St Mary the Virgin in Harefield, Middlesex. John HOWARD, son of Peter HOWARD, was born about 1835 in Edinburgh, Scotland. He died before April 1891 at the age of 56. The 1871 census has John and Margaret living at the Post Office in Ruislip village, he is described as a Tailor, Margaret's nephew Jason IVE is staying with them.

Appears on his marriage to be working as a tailor, by the time of the 1881 census is living at Villiers Road, Bushey, Herts working as a Baker and Grocer he is also said to be blind.
