155. Charles IVE was born in 1809 in Harefield, Middlesex. He was baptized on 4 June 1809 in Harefield, Middlesex. He died on 9 November 1874 at the age of 65 at Ashby Farm in Ruislip, Middlesex. Charles was buried on 14 November 1874 at St Martin in Ruislip, Middlesex.

Charles is shown as the tenant of Ashby Farm in the 1851,1861 and 1871 Census in the 1881 census his son Edmond is shown as tenant. The farm appears to have been approximately 124 acres in size, although the 1871 census gives the size as only 106 acres.

Occupation: In 1835 and 1837 Charles was stated as being a labourer. In 1839 he called himself a woodman and in 1841 he is listed as being a farmer. He is descibed in the census as being Farmer of Ducks Hill, Ruislip in 1851 & 1861.

Charles IVE and Margaret BRAY were married on 11 October 1834 in Harefield, Middlesex. Margaret BRAY, daughter of James BRAY and Mary STEVENS, was baptized on 30 January 1814 in Ruislip, Middlesex. She was born about 1814 in Ruislip, Middlesex. She died in 1881 at the age of 67 in Ruislip, Middlesex. Margaret was buried on 22 December 1881 at St Martin in Ruislip, Middlesex. Following the death of Charles, in 1875 Magaret sold the farm stock and passed the tenancy to her son Edmond. Margaret moved to Breakspear Road, Ruislip Common, this is recorded in the 1881 census, and became a wood dealer, an occupation which ran in her family.
