320. William IVE was born on 10 February 1842 at 8 Totton Street in Stepney, Middlesex. He died on 15 October 1883 at the age of 41. He was buried on 19 October 1883 in Abney Park Cemetery.

In 1861 William is living at 28 High Street, St Martin, Birmingham, he is an Apprentice Tea Dealer, the address would seem to be that of his employer a Tea Dealer named James PHILLPOTT.

William and his family appear on the 1871 census living at 3 Hill Street, Stamford Hill, his occupation is given as a Grocer.

William IVE and Clara KNOWLES were married in 1866. Registration: R.D. Kensington Vol 1a Page 176 between July 1866 and September 1866 . Clara KNOWLES, daughter of Charles Goodwin KNOWLES and Elizabeth RUDLAND, was born in 1839 in St Albans, Hertfordshire. She was baptized on 21 April 1839 in St Michael, St Albans, Hertfordshire. She died on 23 December 1891 at the age of 52.

In 1891 the widowed Clara and her children (except Ellen) are living at 11 Dovecote Villas, Green Lane, Wood Green, she is "Living on her own means".

William IVE and Clara KNOWLES had the following children:

In 1891 Ellen is living at 32 Hatherley Grove, Paddington, this is a boarding establishment for the staff of one of the department stores in the area, her occupation is given as Draper's Cashier.
