She died on 10 January 1869 at the age of 50 in Matlock, Derbyshire. Mary Ann IVE and Samuel Richard "Richard" COOK were married on 15 May 1841 at the British Ambassador's residence in Paris, France. Samuel Richard "Richard" COOK, son of Richard COOK and Elizabeth Anne NEWTON, was born on 2 February 1819 in St James, Westminster, Middlesex. He was baptized on 8 March 1819 in St James, Westminster, Middlesex. He died on 18 February 1875 at the age of 56 at 63 Princes Street, Leicester Square in London. Richard had his estate probated on 5 March 1875 at Principal Registry in London. The 1851 census lists the family living at 14 Denbigh Street, Westminster, Samuel is recorded as Richard and his occupation is described as Fundholder. In 1861 the family are living at 63 Princes Street and Samuel is described as a Brushmaker employing 8 men. By 1871 Samuel is a widower, he is still living in Princes Street together with his children, Mary Amelia, Bertha and Arthur; his sisters-in-law, Lucy TAGG (nee IVE), and Julia BELLINGHAM (nee IVE), are listed as visitors in the household.
