She was buried on 5 January 1910 at Holy Trinity in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire. Lucy died in January 1910 at the age of 94 in Sydney House, Northfield End, Henley-on Thames, Oxfordshire. In 1861 the widowed Lucy is living with her mother and step-father in Henley, she is described as a House Proprietor. In 1871 Lucy is lodging in Westminster with her brother-in-law Samuel COOK, In 1891 Lucy is living at Northfield End, Henley, she is of "Independent Means", her widowed niece Ida GASTON is living with her. In 1901 her address is 15 Northfield End, her niece Bertha COOK is living with her. Lucy Ann IVE and Frederick TAGG were married on 11 November 1848 in St Mary, Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire. Frederick TAGG, son of James TAGG and Anna [--?--], was baptized on 29 May 1811 in St Giles, Reading, Berkshire. He was born about 1811 in Reading, Berkshire. He died on 2 September 1857 at the age of 46 in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire. Frederick was buried on 9 September 1857 at Holy Trinity in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire. The Last Will and Testament of Frederick Tagg of Bell Street Henley of Thames Oxfordshire Ironmonger I the undersigned hereby give and bequeath all my real Estate or Estates also all my personal estate and effects stock in trade book debts good will of business goods chattels chattels real of whatsoever kind or wheresoever situate unto my brother Charles Tagg of Castle Street Reading Berkshire Gentleman his heirs executors administrators or assigns to hold the same according to the nature and cause thereof in trust for the purposes therein expressed First that he do see that my mortal remains be deposited in such place as he may conclude will be in keeping with my wishes if practicable and that he do pay all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses Secondly that he be empowered to receive all debts due to me rents interests dividends or bonds or capital out at interest or otherwise and that his receipt for any principal sum or interest or the receipt of his heirs executors administrators or assigns shall be a good and sufficient discharge for the payment of the same and for all matters to be effected under this my will I then will and bequeath unto my wife Lucy Tagg the annuity of one hundred pounds sterling per annum for her sole and separate use and benefit the payment of which said shall be in sums of twenty five pounds every three months if so preferred by her the first payment to be computed from the date of my decease and the payment of which said annuity or any divisional part thereof her correct or sole receipt or acknowledgement to my said trustee independently of any future husband shall be a good and sufficient discharge for the same I further will and bequeath unto my said wife all my household furniture and implements of household plate linen books and ????? to be by her appropriated or disposed of to her own use and benefit Also I will and bequeath unto my brother John James Tagg of Reading aforesaid late Innkeeper the annuity of seventy five pounds sterling per annum to be subdivided and paid by my said trustee quarterly or otherwise as may be convenient the first payment thereof to be commenced from the date of my decease provided always that the said trustees have power to withhold payment of the said annuity should any Court of Law or equity subject the same to an attachment Also I will and declare that for the more certain and regular realization and payment of the said Annuities or either of them that my stock in trade fixtures outdoor effects or other my personal or real estates be offered for sale either by private treaty or public auction as in the discretion of my said trustee and executor shall seem best within a reasonable time after my decease with full power to buy in and ??????? any contract for sale without being responsible for any loss occasioned thereby and do all such acts and sign and execute all such assurances for effecting such sale as he may think fit and from the proceeds of such sale do set about and invest in some public funds or Government Securities such a principal sum as will realize the said Annuities as aforesaid Also I will and bequeath unto my brother Charles Tagg of Reading aforesaid for his own absolute use and benefit all my Freehold Estate Messuages or Tenements situate in London Street Reading aforesaid And I hereby direct that until such investment as aforesaid that the before mentioned annuities shall be chargeable and paid out of the income of any of my real and personal estate after such investment aforesaid shall be residuary Estate and be disposed of in the following manner that is I will and bequeath unto my nephew Henry Tagg who hath no prospect of paternal or maternal allowance the sum of one thousand pounds sterling as some ???????? to the ?????? of his brother James Tagg Also I will and bequeath unto my nephew and niece Francis and Anna Fanny Tagg son and daughter of my late brother William Tagg Five hundred pounds each as an equivalent to the said paternal inheritance of their brother John William Tagg Also I will and bequeath unto my nieces Sarah Ann Smith and Eliza Mary ???? Smith daughters of my sister Anna the sum of Five hundred pounds each Finally I hereby appoint the said Charles Tagg Sole Executor and trustee of this my last Will and Testament hereby revoking all former and other Wills by me at any time made and I declare that all receipts discharges conveyances or any other matter done by him his heirs executors administrators or assigns shall be as valid and effectual as if executed by myself And that any purchaser or purchasers accepting his act shall not be answerable for the misappropriation or misapplication of any monies paid by them and I also declare that my executor and trustee nor his heirs executors administrators or assigns shall not be answerable or chargeable for the default of any broker banker or any other person unto whose hands any of the aforesaid trust monies shall be placed nor for the insufficiency of the Stocks or Public Securities in which the same may be invested nor for any involuntary loss that may happen to the said trust monies such that he the said Executor do reimburse himself all costs charges or expenses to which he may become liable under the execution of this my will In witness whereof I the said Frederick Tagg the Testator have hereunto set my hand this twenty third day of January one thousand eight hundred and fifty seven ?
