Fourth Generation10. John IVE was born about 1665 in Burnham, Buckinghamshire. He was baptized on 28 February 1665 in Burnham, Buckinghamshire. He died in 1720 at the age of 55. John was buried on 16 August 1720 in Harefield, Middlesex. Appears to have moved from Burnham to Highway Farm, Harefield in 1698/9 based upon churches where children were baptised/buried. ffirst and principally I commend and commit my Soul into the hands of Almighty God my Creator hoping and assuredly believing through the Meritts of my only Saviour Jesus Christ to receive full and free pardon and fforgiveness of all my Sins and to inherit Everlasting Life and my Body I comit to the Earth to be decently buried at the Discretion of my Executors herein after named and as touching the disposal of such Temporal Estate as it hath pleased Almighty God to lend me here on Earth I give Devise and bequeath the same in manner following Imprimis I give Devise and bequeath to my Second Son John Ive the Sume of One Hundred pounds of good money of Great Britain to be paid him out of my Stock and personal Estate when he shall attain his Age of One and Twenty years by my Executors herein after named. Item I give Devise and bequeath unto my Eldest Daughter Anne Russell Wife of Robert Russell of Botwell in the parish of Hayse in the said County of Middlesex Yeoman the sume of fforty pounds of like money to be paid in Twelve Months next after my decease by my Executors out of my Stock and personal Estate. Item I give Devise and bequeath unto my Second Daughter Mary Golding Wife of Henry Golding of Eaton in the County of Bucks Cordwainer the Sume of fforty pounds of like money to be paid her also in Twelve Months after my decease out of my Stock and personall Estate by my Executors herein after named. Item I give devise and bequeath unto my Grandaughter Anne Russell the Sume of ffive pounds of like money to be paid her by my Executors out of my Stock and personal Estate when She shall attain her Age of one and Twenty yeares or be Married which shall first happen. Item I give Devise and bequeath unto my other Daughter Sarah Ive All those my two Closes of Arrable Land lying and being in the parish of Burnham in the said County of Bucks the one of them is called by the name of Horse Harness Wood and the other by the name of Peters Close containing both together by Estimation Tenn Acres be the same more or less and the one of them is abutting on the Lane leading to Beconsfield on the East and the other is adjoining or abuting on the Lane leading to Woobourne on the West together with all Ways Waters Easements Commons Common of pasture proffitts Comodities and appurtences whatsoever to the said two Closes belonging or appertaining and which said Two Closes are now in the Tenure or occupation of Rebecca Allen her assignee or assigns To hold unto my said Daughter Sarah Ive for and during the Terme of her natural Life in Case she shall live Single and unmarried after my decease but in Case my said Daughter Sarah Ive shall happen to be Married after my decease or from and after her decease which first happen Then I give Devise and bequeath One of the said Two Closes which is called Horse Harness Wood unto my said Son John Ive his Heirs and Assignes for ever And the other Close which is called Peters Close with the Appurtences I give Devise and bequeath unto my said Son Edward Ive and to his Heirs and Assignes for ever. Item my Will and Mind is that my Executors herein after named shall see soon as conveniently they can (not exceeding twelve Months after my decease) Take out of my Stock and personal Estate the Sume of Thirty pounds and what more shall then be due to Robert Pidder of Sippenham in the parish of Burnham aforesaid Black Smith for the Interest of Thirty pounds which is secured to him by a Mortgage of the Close aforesaid called Peters Close and that my said Executors doe therewith pay off the said Thirty pounds and Interest and quitt and Discharge the Close aforesaid Secured for payment thereof from the said Mortgage and Incumbrance that the whole profitts thereof may come free to my said Daughter Sarah Ive in manner aforesaid and the Reversion and Inheritance thereof may come to my said Son Edward Ive his Heirs and Assignes freed from the Mortgage aforesaid. All the Rest and Residue of my Stock Goods Chattells Moneys as well ready money as I shall have by me at the time of my Decease and also moneys then any ways due or oweing unto me And all my Plate and personal Estate whatsoever and wheresoever after my Debts Legacies and ffunerall Expenses are paid and discharged I give Devise and bequeath the same unto my Eldest Son William Ive and I doe hereby nominate constitute and appoint my said Eldest Son William Ive and my loving Brother Edward Ive joynt Executors of this my last Will and Testament And I Desire my said Brother Edward Ive to take on him the Burthen and Execution of this Will joynt with my said Son William Ive and to assist my said Son William Ive in the ExecutorShip as much as he can having all his reasonable Charges allowed him And I give Devise and bequeath unto my said Brother Edward Ive One Guinea of Gold value One pound One shilling for his Care and paines therein And I do hereby revoke disanull and make void all former and other Will Wills and Testaments by me at any time heretofore made In Witness whereof I the said John Ive the Testator to this my last Will and Testament contained in two Sheets of Writing paper to the ffirst Sheet have Sett my hand and to this other my hand and Seale this fourth Day of December in the sixth yeare of the Reigne of our Sovereigne Lord George by the Grace of God of Great Britain ffrance and Ireland King Defender of the ffaith pr. John IVE and Ann GOLDWIN were married on 17 May 1686 in Farnham Royal, Buckinghamshire. Ann GOLDWIN, daughter of Edward GOLDWIN and Elizabeth [--?--], was born about 1666 in Burnham, Buckinghamshire.
