Fifth Generation26. Edward IVE was baptized on 16 March 1705 in Harefield, Middlesex. He was born in 1705 at Highway Farm in Harefield, Middlesex. He died in 1769 at the age of 64 in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. Edward was buried on 20 June 1769 at St Mary in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. This is a transcript of Edward's will: In the Name of God Amen I Edward Ive of ????????????? in the parish of Rickmansworth in the county of Hertford husbandman being sick and weak in body but of sound mind memory and understanding do make and ordain this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following My Soul I commit to Almighty God trusting in ??????? ??????? for eternal life, my Body I commit to the Earth to be ?????? buried at the discretion of my Executors hereinafter named All my worldly goods I dispose of in this manner ??????? ??????? by certain Articles of Partnership respectively entered into by me the said Edward Ive and my eldest son John Ive bearing date on or about the ninth day of November One thousand Seven hundred and Sixty Four this mutually covenanted and divided for the advancement of the said John Ive in the ????? that all the Live and Dead Stock in the ????? profits to be yearly arising by the culture and husbandry of the two farms which I now respectively hold by the leases of ????????? Leightonhouse Esquire and George Cook Esquire in the parishes of Rickmansworth aforesaid and Harefield in the County of Middlesex shall be from thenceforth equally divided between me the said Edward Ive and my said son John Ive share and share alike as by the said Articles may now fully appear I do hereby give and bequeath unto my daughter Mary Stopford and her heirs the sum of one hundred pounds of lawful money of Great Britain to be paid her or her heirs by my Executor hereinafter named out of the half part of my Live and Dead Stock and the profits ??????? ??????? and hereinafter to be arising by the culture and husbandry of my aforesaid two farms respectively within three months after my decease and my will is that my daughter Mary Stopfords receipts (notwithstanding her ????????) and her heirs shall be a sufficient discharge for the same Item I give and bequeath unto my son William Ive and his heirs the sum of fifty pounds of lawful money of Great Britain (over and above the sum of fifty pounds more for the payment whereof and all interest for the same I now stand bound with him unto John ?????? of Harefield aforesaid) which last mentioned sum of fifty pounds and interest I devise my Executor hereinafter mentioned to pay off as soon as possible after my decease and also the above bequeathed sum of fifty pounds out of the half part of my Live and Dead Stock and the profits already accrued and hereinafter to be arising by the culture and husbandry of my two farms above said unto my said son William Ive or his heirs within a twelve month after my decease and my will is that my said son William Ive's receipt and his heirs respectively shall be a sufficient discharge for the fifty pounds last above said Item I give and bequeath unto my son Edward Ive and his heirs the sum of one hundred pounds of lawful money of Great Britain to be paid him by my Executor out of the half part of my Live and Dead Stock and the profits already accrued and hereafter to be arising by the culture and husbandry of my above said two farms respectively within a twelve month after my decease and my will is that my son Edward Ive's and his heirs respectively shall be a discharge for the same Item I give and bequeath unto my daughter Phillis Ive one hundred pounds of lawful money of Great Britain to be paid her by my Executor hereinafter named out of the half part of my Live and Dead Stock and the profits already accrued and hereafter to be arising by the culture and husbandry of my two farms above said within a twelve month after my decease and my will is that my daughter Phillis Ive's and her Guardian hereinafter mentioned joint receipts during her minority shall be a sufficient discharge for the same but if my daughter Phillis Ive shall happen to die before her age of twenty one or day of marriage then I give and bequeath the or such part of her legacy as shall then be in the hands of her Guardian among my children MaryStopford William Ive and Edward Ive share and share alike Item I give and bequeath my good friend Daniel Parrott of Croxley Green in the parish of Rickmansworth aforesaid the sum of ten pounds of lawful money as a gratuity for his care of my daughter Phillis and I do hereby appoint him the said Daniel Parrott Guardian of my daughter Phillis and her fortune during her minority and overseer of this my last will and testament to see the same duly executed Item I do hereby nominate constitute and appoint my son John Ive sole Executor of this my last will and testament and residual legatee of all my Real and Personal Estate ??????? Live and Dead Stock all my household furniture which I hereby give and bequeath between my two daughters Mary Stopford and Phillis Ive share and share alike duly ?????? Edward IVE and Mary EMPS were married on 10 October 1732 at St Mary the Virgin in Harefield, Middlesex. Mary EMPS, daughter of Lyonell EMPS and Ann HAINES, was born in 1713 in Langley, Buckinghamshire. She was baptized on 6 April 1713 in Langley, Buckinghamshire. She died in 1745 at the age of 32 in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire. Mary was buried on 19 July 1745 at St Mary the Virgin in Harefield, Middlesex. Edward IVE and Mary EMPS had the following children:
Edward IVE and Martha AXTELL were married in 1746 in By Licence Herts. Martha AXTELL was born in 1710 in Rickmansworth, Hertfordshire.
