182. John Goodwin IVE was born in 1814 in Langley, Buckinghamshire. He was baptized on 24 July 1814 in Langley, Buckinghamshire. Death Registration: R.D. Eton Vol 3a Page 433 between January 1888 and March 1888 . He died on 27 February 1888 at the age of 74 in South End Lodge, Langley, Bucks. On the will of William IVE written in 1839 John Goodwin, is named as an executor, he is described as an Auctioneer living at Middle Green, Langley.

The 1851 census has John and his family living at Middle Green, Langley Marish he is described as a proprietor or 212 acres of land employing 12 labourers.

On the 1871 census John and his wife Jessica are staying in St Pancras with Jessica's sister, Ann, and her husband James TAYLOR.

Living at South End Lodge, Langley Marish as a farmer of 313 acres employing 18 men and 3 boys at the time of the 1881 census.

The following entry appears in the Will indexes:-

"1888. IVE, John Goodwin. Personal Estate £1,672 13s 8d. 6 April. the Will of John Goodwin IVE late of South End Lodge Langley near Slough in the County of Buckingham Corn Salesman & Farmer who died 27/2/1888 at South End Lodge was proved at the Principal Registry by James Parkinson TAYLOR of 28 Great-James-street, Bedford-row in the County of Middlesex Solicitor, Alfred IVE of Market-place Henley-on-Thames in the county of Oxford Wine Merchant and William Henry IVE of St Edith's Kemsing near Sevenoaks in the County of Kent Farmer the Executors."

John Goodwin IVE and Jessica Rachel GOODWIN were married on 20 April 1841 at St Mary the Virgin in Datchet, Buckinghamshire. The entry in the GRO index is under IVES not IVE. Jessica Rachel GOODWIN, daughter of Ralph GOODWIN and Ann TAYLOR, was baptized on 13 May 1817 in Datchet, Buckinghamshire. She was born in 1817 in Datchet, Buckinghamshire. She died on 3 March 1883 at the age of 66 at South End Lodge in Langley, Buckinghamshire. Jessica had her estate probated on 14 September 1895 in London.

Jessica Goodwin IVE was born on 4 February 1842 in Langley, Buckinghamshire. She was baptized on 4 March 1842 in Langley, Buckinghamshire. She died on 12 April 1919 at the age of 77 at Penrose, Vicarage Road in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire. Jessica had her estate probated on 11 August 1919 in London.

In 1871 Jessica and her sister Ann are recorded as living at Middle Green, Langley, they are both described as Farmer's Daughters, their aunt Mary Taylor GOODWIN is staying with them.

Appears on the 1901 census living in Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire and described as Living on Own Means.
