Eighth Generation

126. George IVE was born on 1 August 1805 at New Years Green in Harefield, Middlesex. He was baptized on 25 August 1805 in Harefield, Middlesex. He died in 1858 at the age of 53 at Ruislip Common in Ruislip, Middlesex. George was buried on 4 August 1858 at St Martin in Ruislip, Middlesex.

George would seem to have taken over the tenancy of The Six Bells at Ruislip Common sometime between October 1833 and December 1835 as his son James was Christened at Harefield in 1833, when George is described as a Farmer, his next son was Christened at Ruislip in 1835 which suggests the family were now living at Ruislip.

The 1841 census shows George and his family living at Ruislip Common his occupation is given as Victualer, presumably at the Six Bells.

Similarly in 1851 George is again recorded as a Licenced Victualler at the Six Bells.

George IVE and Maria GODLIMAN were married on 21 August 1831 at St Mary in Hanwell, Middlesex. She died on 8 December 1876 at the age of 65 in Ruislip, Middlesex. Maria was buried on 14 December 1876 at St Martin in Ruislip, Middlesex.
