Richard J. Meads

Richard James Meads was born on the 26th of July 1904 at Cambridge Road, Southall, the son of David Meads and His wife Jemima Fuell, apart from his military service in World War Two, he was a life-long resident of the town and had an abiding interest in its history. Richard Meads died in 1988 shortly before his 84th birthday.

He wrote three books about Southall, plus one about his experiences in the Royal Army Medical Corps in WW2.
